   This is a vintage Selmer Bundy Goldentone 3 Bb clarinet, made in Elkhart, Indiana, USA. Crafted from durable black Resonite (a high-impact plastic material developed by Selmer for student instruments), this clarinet dates back to the late 1940s or early 1950s based on its low serial number #03601, marking it as an early example from the post-WWII era when Bundy production ramped up.

  



























    It's a classic student model with a Boehm system, featuring 17 keys and 6 rings, nickel-plated keywork, and a flared bell stamped "Bundy Made by Selmer Elkhart Indiana." The upper section includes the original Goldentone 3 mouthpiece, which offers a medium facing for balanced tone and easy response, ideal for beginners learning embouchure and air support.

   



























     The clarinet disassembles into the standard parts: mouthpiece, barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and bell. It shows typical signs of age and use, including minor scratches, some oxidation on the keys, and visible cork on the tenons (which may need replacement for optimal playability). No major dents or cracks noted in the body. Assembled, it measures approximately 26-1/4 inches long with a 3" x 3" profile and weighs 1 lb 10 oz—compact and lightweight for easy handling.
