The Florentine design gives this acoustic electric bass a truly unique and distinctive appearance, while also allowing easy access to the instrument's upper register. It starts with a select spruce top and mahogany sides and back for a truly balanced and full tone. The patented soundslot design of the soundhole reduces feedback that often accompanies acoustic-electric crossovers. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge offer strong sustain. The tuners are chrome die-cast Grovers, for precision tuning and great consistency in tone. At the heart of this 4-string Washburn bass lies a piezo bridge pickup and the Equis Extra active preamp which provide a very natural amplified sound. The instrument plays and sounds great.
